My legal, public service, and business background honed the analytical, communication, negotiation, and service skills that give my clients an edge. An alum of U of M and Wayne State Law School, I’ve lived in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County most of the past 40 years. I worked as a Legal Aid attorney, in private practice, and as legal counsel in the Michigan House of Representaives. I was a Washtenaw County Commissioner in the 1990’s and chaired the task force that led to the county’s Natural Areas Preservation Program. Before starting my real estate business, I was an executive managing a national academic association, organizing conferences, managing sales, overseeing publications, and providing financial management and board support.

I’ve raised two children in Ann Arbor with my wife, Anne, a retired elementary art teacher. We now live in Milan, where we keep busy updating our 100-year-old house, cooking, gardening, and walking our two dogs. For diversion and exercise, I’m an adult softball umpire, enjoy playing bad golf, and hiking in Washtenaw County's bountiful nature reserves and parks.

Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County offer diverse communities, landscapes and homes.
